Welcome to Senior

Students enter our Senior School as enthusiastic young learners, excited to embrace the challenges of life after Prep.

The academic journey from Year 7 to Year 11 is all about building well-rounded and self-assured young adults. Our students’ love of learning motivates them to achieve beyond expectation and to constantly challenge themselves, with the support and encouragement of our dedicated teachers.

An Individual approach

Pipers’ students develop their own voice, grow in confidence andunderstand themselves as individuals – what their passions are and what they want to achieve.

Every student is given the opportunity to let their individuality shine through their time at school. The curriculum is flexible, so our students get to tailor their education to best suit them. In Years 7 and 8, students immerse themselves in a wide range of subjects and extra-curricular activities, that allows them to build upon current strengths, as well as being afforded the chance to learn new skills, which will support their academic growth.

Parents say their daughters are happy here, and feel they can be their true selves. They very much instil that she can do anything...

Good Schools Guide

More than exam results

Whilst our students achieve impressive GCSE results, they also develop personal and life skills such as:

  • Perseverance
  • Decisiveness
  • Compassion
  • Adaptability
  • Imagination
  • Communication skills

Happiness and well-being should underpin any degree of success which comes from examination results. Our Students are constantly encouraged to step out of their comfort zones, and participate in clubs and activities, whilst also understanding the importance of managing their commitments and the independent work required outside of the classroom. Students are always encouraged to look outside our own Community, supporting charities and causes close to their hearts, as well as learning about new ones.

Entry to Senior School:

Most students enter Senior School in Year 7 but we also offer deferred Year 9 entry for girls educated at Prep Schools who wish to remain there for Years 7 and 8. Students will be considered for entry to Years 8–10 when places become available. For further details, visit our Admissions page.
