Prep girls joined in with the International Organization of La Francophonie's 77 member states on Monday to mark Francophonie Day – a day of celebration of the French language and Francophone culture.
At short break Mme Gagnon and the Prep French subject leaders Sana L and Darcey K (Year 6) organised a session full of fun activities all themed around the day.
This included hand-printing a painting in the colours of the Tricolor, making flags of the La Francophonie symbol of French language speakers, and dancing, whilst listening to lively music from La Compagnie Créole, a popular French pop band from French Guiana and the French West Indies.
