Whole School Enrichment

As part of the enrichment curriculum at Pipers Corner there is a focus on leadership and how students can develop the crucial skills required to be a successful leader. Effective leadership skills are not something that people are born with, and building the skills can take time and effort, with support needed along the way.

This week our Senior Prefect Team and Senior House Teams (including Heads of House, Deputy Heads of House and Sports Captains) took part in a collaborative Leadership Skills session focussing on how to embrace the challenges of leadership with confidence.

The event began with an opportunity for self-reflection as the girls considered some of the successes and challenges they had faced in their roles to date. Following this we were delighted to welcome School Governor and Company Director, Mr Adrian Cannon, to deliver a presentation to the girls about how to be confident in their roles and their ability to lead others. The girls also participated in a variety of group activities and discussed how they might develop their current leadership roles through collaboration with others.

It was a hugely rewarding and positive experience for our young leaders, enabling them to critically reflect on their leadership styles and, most importantly, look to the future with greater confidence.
