All girls are encouraged to follow a healthy and active lifestyle.
Girls have opportunities to participate in a range of team sports and, if they choose to, an energetic programme of competitive sports fixtures. Sports on offer range from lacrosse, tennis, judo and netball to athletics, badminton and the more unusual synchronized swimming.
Drama, Dance, Music and Art provide a crucial outlet for the girls in which to express themselves. Numerous performance opportunities allow girls to develop their confidence, creativity, teamwork and self awareness
All girls quickly become part of our supportive and nurturing community. We promote the importance of compassion and a sense of social responsibility as girls realise that they have an obligation to put back into life at least as much as they take out of it.
Our House structure, which includes a range of regular Inter-House competitions and activities, encourages team work and loyalty as the girls work together to achieve shared aims.
The spiritual life of our school, with our Chapel as the focus, offers a variety of opportunities for worship and reflection. We encourage an exploration of personal values and beliefs as well as a respect for those of others.
Our diverse and evolving range of extra-curricular clubs and activities provides every opportunity for Pipers’ girls to broaden their horizons and develop new skills.
Learning is enriched through a busy programme of talks by outside speakers and school visits to places of interest both at home and abroad. From historic castles in England, to the battlefields of the Somme, the ski slopes of Austria and the sheer beauty of the volcanic landscape of Iceland it is by taking the girls out into the world that we can open them up to new possibilities and experiences which are essential both academically and personally.
