SCHOOL FEES

2024-2025

Following the Chancellor's confirmation that VAT will be charged on independent school fees, at the standard rate of 20%, our termly fees for the Spring and Summer Terms 2025 can be found below.

We are pleased to be able to mitigate some of this additional cost for our parents by bearing half the cost of VAT. From 1 January 2025, we reduced our core fees so that the net effect after VAT represents a 10% increase on pre-VAT levels.

Termly Fee Structure for 2024-2025 Academic Year

Termly fees covers the cost of tuition, text books, most stationery requirements, lunch, and tea for any day when students are staying on for clubs, activities and After-School Prep.

Fee Structure for 2025-2026 Academic Year

All fees are inclusive of VAT.

Payment of Fees

All fees are due for settlement one week before the beginning of the term. A late payment charge will be added to overdue accounts at 1.5% per month accruing on a daily basis. Please see the School’s Terms and Conditions for further information about the payment of fees and extras.

Schemes and Plans

• Inclusion in the School Fees Refund Scheme is optional and parents have the opportunity to opt in to the Scheme if they wish to
• At no additional cost, all girls are included in the Personal Accident Insurance run by the school – this provides cover up to £1 million, including Dental Cover

Notice

A full term's notice in writing to the Headmistress is required before the withdrawal of a girl or a change in status. Half a term's notice is required to discontinue an extra subject. Failing such notice, fees in lieu will be charged.

Registration and Deposits

A non-returnable registration fee of £180 is payable when a girl is first registered for admission to the school. This fee is inclusive of VAT.

The following deposits are required on acceptance of a place.

• Reception to Year 11 | £1,000
• Deferred Year 9 entry | £1,500
• Sixth Form | £1,500

Fees are reviewed annually by the Board of Governors in the Spring Term.

We offer a range of Scholarships and Bursaries at Reception, Year 7 and Sixth Form entry.
