Our amazing staff and students have been very busy during the covid-19 lockdown making various Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the NHS.

Our Arts Centre Manager, Ms Duncan along with her team of volunteers have made over 2,200 face shields for front line workers. Their work has been so fantastic that the Arts Centre was recognised as an official Wycombe ‘PPE hub’ at the end of April, headed up by Lib Dem parliamentary candidate Toni Brodelle. All volunteers involved received detailed training in creating sections of face shields for hospital staff on covid-19 wards and we are very proud of their ongoing sterling work.

The Pipers Corner Textiles team led by Mrs Maynard continue to do their bit in support of the NHS, and have sewn and delivered 63 bags and 80 headbands - in just one week. This includes contributions from students, parents and staff.

Some of our students have also been making scrubs and face masks – pictured here is some of their impressive handiwork.
