The cold weather has not stopped our Sports teams! They have started the Spring Term with some superb triumphs – not always equating to wins – but certainly making strides in their own personal achievements and teamwork.

Our Under 16 A Netball team beat Wycombe Abbey in a fiercely competitive game seeing them well-prepared for the regional competition next month.

The Junior and Intermediate Swim Teams came first overall in a the first of this terms’ friendly Gala’s.

Our Under 16 A Hockey team travelled to Uppingham School for the Quarter Finals of the Tier Two English Hockey National Cup. The thrilling 4-4 game ended in Uppingham going through on penalties, but despite not clinching the win, we are so proud of our team who achieved the furthest position in the national competition to-date.

Our Sixth Form Cross Country enthusiast Maddie, competed in the Inter-counties Qualifiers last weekend, achieving third Female under 20 – meaning Maddie gets through to the British Inter-counties Championships on 9 March.

With our sporting schedule of friendlies, fixtures and competitions getting busier we can’t wait to share some more sporting successes with you as the term progresses.
