It has been a superbly triumphant season for our Senior Swim team, who have achieved remarkable results over the past few weeks.

Mollie M, Year 7 had a fantastic two weekends at the County Championships, winning six different events, with a total of 15 medals across all events. In fact, she got a medal in every event that she qualified for. In addition to the medals, she also ranked third in the “Top Swimmers” award across all age groups in the county.

Sienna W had a similarly successful County Championship! Taking home medal after medal. Including bronze medal in the 400m Freestyle and the 200m Backstroke and Silver medal in the 100m butterfly and winning special awards for Top Female in her age category.

Evelyn H made the finals for the 50m and 100m Breaststroke and achieved Personal Bests in both.

Her new times mean she now qualifies for the Welsh Nationals! A great achievement and huge progress over the last few months.

Claudia W set new PBs in all her races, made finals in all her Fly and Back races and came away with three bronze medals.

Caitlin V, Year 10, new to the Berkshire and South Bucks County Championships (having previously competed in the Oxford and North Buckinghamshire competition), qualified for eleven individual events. She achieved Personal Bests in the 100m Freestyle, 50m Breaststroke and 100m Breaststroke.  Caitlin improved her time from a third place heat finish to secure a second place Silver medal finish in the 15years Age Group Final of the 50m Breaststroke.

Maddie R, Year 13 competed in the over 18’s category and came home with a string of super results. Of note were the bronze medal in Medley Relay and silver medal in Freestyle Relay, securing her county swim team – the Chalfont Otters – a place in the regional finals.
