Former student qualifies for British Swimming Championships

A former Pipers Corner student has qualified for the 2021 British Swimming Championships, which is due to be held in London in April.

Katie T, who left Pipers Corner last summer and started university in September, has qualified for the British Swimming Championships in the 200m, 400m, 800m and 500m Free Style. This is an outstanding achievement, particularly given the prestige of the event which helps select teams for the 2021 summer international meets, both senior and junior, as well as the Tokyo Olympics. 

Katie, who currently swims for the Amersham Swimming Club, excelled at swimming while she was at Pipers and completed an A Level in Physical Education. We wish her the best of luck at the upcoming championships.
