Sports Day with a difference took place this term. Instead of our traditional gathering and parade, students and staff from across the year groups participated in a range of virtual and onsite events.

Pre-Prep competed in their year group bubbles in running races, an egg and spoon race and a hula hoop challenge on the school site. Meanwhile, throughout the end of June the Prep and Senior students took part in virtual activities of their choice including sack races, a speed bounce, Jenga stacking and, for the more ambitious students and staff, a 10-kilometre run, press-ups, a standing long jump, the longest horse jump and even a unicycle challenge! There was certainly something for everyone to enjoy.

The winners of the Virtual Sports Day were Penn House with a stunning 358 points, narrowly defeating Milton by just one point. In third place on a commendable 341 points were Mandeville, with Hampden coming in just behind on 333 points. An exceptionally close year for results and a fantastic example yet again of the effort and resilience of the students and staff throughout this unusual year.
