Charity Whole School

This term the students have returned to school with a strong desire to help and support others.

Two Year 8 pupils, Hannah B and Maisy M have decided to raise funds for the African Education Trust. AET is an education specialist organisation that believes supporting quality education is key for changing individuals, communities and countries for the better. Their first fundraiser will be an Art Competition for the students. Watch this space!

Other examples of the spirit of giving that we are seeing resonating around the school, include charity badge and band selling for the Alzheimer's Society, our Sixth Former Prefect Team volunteering at Amersham Community Centre on 'Silver Sunday' (pictured below). Due to Covid-19, Amersham could not host their usual afternoon tea so instead they delivered the tea to the local elderly community, nearly 500 boxes in total! Finally, the overwhelmingly generous donations from our families to the One Can Trust at Harvest Festival.
