Christmas Crafts

Pre-Prep participated in the department’s annual Christmas Crafts session an event which everyone eagerly anticipates throughout the year, where the students make an array of festive arts and crafts to take home with them. 

Usually, in normal circumstances, parents are invited to come along and get crafty as well but this year we were unable to extend this invitation.  

The children had an incredible time colouring in, gluing pompoms and cotton wool, cutting felt shapes and getting glitter everywhere. Throughout the sessions the students enthusiastically sang along to carols and Christmas music, particularly Santa Claus is Coming to Town and Frosty the Snowman. 

This year’s crafts included hanging snowmen made from puffed out paper, tree decorations such as hanging nativity scenes and sparkly baubles, glittery pinecone reindeer, Christmas crackers with a joke, hat and a cracker banger, and mini handbags made from coloured in festive faces.
