Prep Spring Concert - A Coronation Celebration

Students from Years 3 to 6 performed their annual Spring Concert this week to a full Arts Centre Theatre of delightfully proud friends and family.  The theme allowed for a joyous display of musical talent in celebration of the Kings Coronation and the British Monarchy through the ages.

A variety of musical genres featured, from Classical to Rock and Pop with some wonderfully brave solo and small group performances.  Let’s not forget that these students are performing on a professional stage with professional lighting to a full audience – quite a feat for anyone!

The whole Prep ensemble have been working together for a number of weeks to perfect not only their musical talent but their stage presence and expression, which all formed a part in the successful production. 

Our incredible Music Teachers and Prep Form Tutors dedicated a lot of time to ensure that every student had a chance to shine, working with our Costume Designer and Theatre Tech team to successfully evoke the spirit of the very British street party.
