Development Whole School

This half-term break has seen an impressive array of accomplishments by our students, not just those who have partaken in School related trips, but those who have demonstrated their diverse talents and dedication to their goals outside of the School curriculum.

As a School we are committed to the nurturing of well-rounded, confident individuals and have celebrated these attributes via our social media channels this week. From sporting successes to environmental conservation, from creative writing to entrepreneurship and from personal growth to community service, it is an honour and delight to see our students in unwavering dedication to their passions and interests. Here are just a few highlights:

Year 11 student Abby R joined the England Lionesses Talent Pathway for Goalkeepers, visiting the England Training Centre St George's Park for an all-day training session. This is all alongside her Junior Premier League commitments.

Year 7 student Sarah B volunteered for an hour-long beach clean to improve the environment for newly hatching turtles, resulting in 25 large bags of rubbish being collected and a host of baby turtles safely delivered to the Ocean.

Year 2 student Olivia R finished her 11th Park Run, completing the equivalent of a half-marathon in total.

Year 11 student Chloe M and Year 8 student Sophie S both had their poetry published in a Young Writers Poetry Collection called ‘Echoes from the Heart’ covering topics such as; bullying, environment, equality, conflict and identity.

Year 12 student Mya H successfully launched her own candle company over half-term. Not only making the eco vegan candles, but also managing the e-commerce and marketing of her new start-up empoweringscents.net

Reception student Lottie S Achieved a Swim England award for completing her 25 metre back-stroke, forming part of her Rainbow Distances goals.

Our Senior School Hockey players have triumphed over half-term with Lili and Pippa successfully make it into the Girls U14 Buckinghamshire hockey team and Danella, Jasmine, Tilly and Beth who made it into the U17 Squad.

All of their accomplishments both big and small (and no doubt many more which we are yet to learn about) not only reflect their talents but also their resilience. As we continue to support and empower our students, we look forward to witnessing the incredible milestones they will reach in the future, and encourage you, as parents and carers to share their successes with us at every opportunity.
