In the spirit of sustainability, we are shining the spotlight in “re-using” this Christmas. One of our Year 7 parents was able to source a sack-full of decorations from John Lewis that would have otherwise made their way to landfill – these were used in a Year 7 Bauble Decorating competition and have been creatively made into Garlands to be sold at Saturdays Christmas Fair.

In further collaboration with the Chiltern Reuse Centre, festive-themed accessories have been saved from the rubbish bin and turned in to elegant table centre pieces, ornaments and Christmas novelties. But that's not all! Our Environmentalist-in-Residence along with the Prep Students are focussing on the often-overlooked world of clothing recycling with a Fashion Exchange.

When you shop these unique and hand-made items at the Christmas Fair, you're not just adding a sustainable touch to your celebrations, you’re making a meaningful impact on our planet and your kind donations will be in aid of the Scan Appeal charity, driving vital advancements in medical research.
