Years 7-9 Talent Show 2024

After more than 20 auditions and a supportive audience to boot, the Senior Talent Show was a wonderful celebration of creativity of the 12 finalists, where students were able to showcase their skills and passions, whilst raising around £200 for the Make a Wish Foundation.

This year's show captivated our audience with an impressive array of performances:

Emma B, Mia M and Ava N in Year 8 performed the Taylor Swift hit 'You’re on Your Own Kid'.

Lucy B and Grace P in Year 9 showing their dance skills in their performance called 'Human Sized Bird Cage'

Zara C in Year 9 delighted the audience with her elegant Ballet.

Musical Theatre was a bit hit as Freya D and Cecily N in Year 7 kept the SIX fever going throughout the School with their rendition of the Anne Boleyn song 'No Way'. Sophia W in Year 8 also performed 'I Dreamed a Dream' from the classic Les Misérables.

Adele was a popular choice within the categories, with Anjika G in Year 8 doing a beautiful rendition of 'Skyfall' and Alex R belting out 'Rolling in the Deep'.

Caitlin M in Year 9 sang the enchanting 'Runaway' by Aurora.

Evelyn S in Year 7 performed 'T Rex Hungry' on the Piano.

Aleena S in Year 8 sang the John Legend favourite 'All of Me'.

Mog S and Anna W in Year 7 pushed the boundaries with a Comedy Show, delighting their audience with well-loved Dad Jokes.

Annabelle W in Year 7 performed the well-loved song of 'Hallelujah' by Leonard Cohen/Jeff Buckley.

We are always incredibly proud of everyone for taking part in the Talent Show and giving engaging and inspiring performances. Our overall winner was Grace P and Lucy B for their beautiful dance, with Anjika G coming a close second with her performance of ‘Skyfall‘. Joint third place was awarded to singer Sophia W and the vocal trio Emma B, Ava N and Mia M. A huge thank you to Year 8ED3 for their help in the organisation of the event.
