Sixth Form initiative supports local foodbank, One Can Trust.

As part of the Sixth Form's 'Looking Outwards' initiative, they have decided to support High Wycombe based foodbank One Can Trust. Currently the charity is supporting more than double the number of vulnerable people compared to pre-COVID-19 times and our Sixth Form students are encouraging the school community to make donations.

Two donation points will be set up at Pipers next week, and below are the contributions most needed:

  • UHT milk
  • Tinned Vegetables
  • Tinned potatoes
  • Rice (500kg)
  • Cooking sauces (not tomato-based)
  • Tinned halal meat
  • Tinned meat pies
  • Healthy cereal (e.g Weetabix, porridge)
  • Tinned fruit
  • Spreads (e.g marmite and peanut butter)
  • Sugar
  • Loo rolls and soap

Currently, the foodbank has plenty of the following:

  • Soup
  • Pasta
  • Tins of fish
  • Peas and sweetcorn
  • Pot noodles/cup-a-soup
  • Homemade jam
  • Sanitary towels
  • Fresh fruit and veg and other perishable items
