Throughout this past week, it's been a hustle and bustle of activity in the lead up to the Autumn half-term holiday.

In celebration of the much-loved book series and magical world of Harry Potter, our Library Team put together an unforgettable evening on Friday 14 October. After getting into their chosen costumes and being sorted into special teams with a sorting hat, the students tucked in to a plethora of mystical treats, including Butter Beer, Polyjuice Potion and Hagrid's Birthday cake (for Harry). Each group then made their way to different parts of the School for quizzes, Quidditch and potion-making, with the winning group announced in the Theatre at the end of the evening.

On Tuesday this week, we welcomed a diverse selection of speakers to give presentations to parents and students about careers within the STE(A)M sector. Speakers included Pipers Alumae, parents and special guests from creative, data analytical and Pharmaceutical industries. Lots of advice was shared about the range of opportunities out there, providing great inspiration for our students about following their passion, taking chances and finding a career where they can make a difference.

To top it off, we're so proud of our students for donating an incredible 900 items towards their chosen charities for this year's Harvest Festival. Milton House won 100 house points for the best looking basket of goodies, but we couldn't be more proud of the great work each house has done.
