Mr Cohen, Head of Years 7 and 8, will be cycling from High Wycombe to Paris in July to raise money for Childhood Tumour Trust and Nerve Tumours UK.

Inspired by one his students, Mr Cohen will be taking part in a solo charity bike ride from 13-14 July to raise money and awareness for two Neurofibromatosis (NF) charities: Childhood Tumour Trust, which supports children, young people and their families affected by NF and Nerve Tumours UK, which funds a unique Specialist Support Network for the 26,500 plus children and adults, diagnosed with NF.

Mr Cohen had planned to cycle from High Wycombe to Paris but due to the implications of Covid-19 it is looking more likely that he will cycle the same distance from Dieppe to Paris but from Newhaven to Deal in Kent, along the south coast.  Mr Cohen’s 101-year-old grandmother lives in a care home in Deal and this will be a fitting place to end his ride.

To date, Mr Cohen has already raised nearly £3,000 and hopes to reach his £4,000 target. If you would like to donate and read more about his story, please click here
