The Senior Talent Show is a wonderful celebration of creativity, where students can showcase their skills and passions to an audience of peers and teachers, whilst raising money for a worth cause. This year's show featured an impressive array of performances that really captivated the audience.

Olivia X opened the show with 'Waiting on a Miracle' from the popular animated movie Encanto - Her powerful vocals and emotive performance was a magical start. Anijka G followed with a solo piano performance delivering incredible skill and talent.

Caitlin M’s rendition of ‘How Far I’ll Go’ from the Disney movie Moana was another triumph. Her vocals conveyed passion and emotion, leaving the audience feeling inspired and uplifted.

The group performance of 'Burn' from the smash-hit musical Hamilton by Caitlin V, Emma B, Stella H and Bea C perfectly captured the essence of the song and was met with great applause.

Zara C delivered the only dance performance this year - a solo piece from The Nutcracker which was a stunning display of grace.  Her beautiful lines and expression were a testament to her Ballet skill.

Niamh P followed with Birdy’s ‘Not About Angels’.  Her Piano and vocals were hauntingly beautiful and left the audience entranced. A playful and harmonious duet by Poppy S and Sadie S on piano and xylophone was next and was an enjoyably uplifting contrast.

Sophie W’s performance of ‘Fight Song’ was a powerful tribute to the strength and resilience of the human spirit.  Her energetic delivery was quite incredible.  Nicole B showcased her amazing control as a vocalist as she sang ‘Hallelujah’ beautifully.

Flo G's performance of 'Half the World Away' was a touching tribute to the power of music to connect people across distance and time. Her performance was heartfelt and sincere.

Carla M closed the show with Abba's 'SOS'. A fun and energetic tribute to the classic song which had the audience clapping along and perfectly ended the hour of wonderful talent enjoyed by all.

The performances were diverse, engaging, and inspiring and we are incredibly proud of everyone who took part and performed with such confidence.

The overall winner of the Senior Talent Show was Niamh P (Year 9.) The runners up were Anijka G (Year 7), Zara C (Year 8) and Sophia W (Year 7)
