Our very own Year 7 student, Juliette, has won second place in the Rotary Club’s National art competition.

The theme was ‘Wild Nature’ and Juliette created her beautiful piece of artwork using flowers that she pressed at home, with ink and coloured pencils. She worked on the piece everyday for three weeks and was delighted to win the Junior division of the Rotary Club’s district competition back in July. Her artwork was then entered into the National level competition for which she has been awarded second place.

The Headmistress presented Juliette with her prize, which included an engraved trophy, and has decided to display the winning artwork in her study to be admired by future guests.
