Art Year 7

Year 7 student, Lucy, has come third in the national Rotary COP26 Poster Competition, winning the honour of having her poster displayed at the global conference.

The competition brief was to draw how you view the environmental crisis and the Rotary Club had over 3,800 entries. Lucy’s poster depicts the earth being heated over a fire causing a critical change in the climate; a strong and stark message.

Baroness Scotland announced the winners and the poster was shown throughout COP26, at the main delegates' hotels and at Glasgow Airport as part of a three-month display. It is an incredible achievement and draws attention to such an important global issue. The poster will now be displayed in the Prep Department and in the Main School Reception for all visitors to see.
