External Exam Regulations
GCSE and A Level examinations are regulated by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) and the Awarding Bodies (including AQA, CIE, Eduqas, OCR and Pearson). The regulations for public examinations are not set by the School, but Pipers Corners School is committed to safeguarding the integrity of the examination system by ensuring all JCQ regulations are adhered to and that examinations are administered fairly to all candidates.
It is important that candidates are aware of the regulations and understand the importance of non-compliance. Failure to comply with any of the regulations will be treated as malpractice. Students should carefully read the attached documents compiled by the JCQ as they clearly set out the strict rules that govern the conditions under which external examinations are taken.
