Conversation & Coffee Series

Understanding the Academic Journey | Thursday 28 November, 0920-1030 hours

This event is the first in a new series of informal events designed for parents in the local community and our prospective families.

For so many parents, the transition from primary to secondary education represents a huge milestone and it can be difficult for parents to have a clear picture of what the next chapter looks like and how they can best support their child. We are therefore delighted to begin the series with a focus on understanding the academic journey that young people embark on at 11 years old, led by our Deputy Head, Academic, Mrs Caroline Derbyshire.

For those considering Pipers as a possible secondary option for their daughter, or for those who are exploring alternative routes, this event will offer a valuable insight into secondary education and the approach of Pipers in ensuring that each student reaches their unique potential.

The event will commence at 0920 hours, with coffee hosted by the Headmistress in our Arts Centre Café. The talk by Mrs Derbyshire will follow, along with an opportunity for an informal Q&A.

Places are limited for this event and we will allocate places on a first come, first serve basis. You can book your place using the link below and if you are unable to attend this event do look out for future events in this series, which will be advertised on our website after Christmas.
