Inter-House Swimming Gala - the Results!

June 10 saw the conclusion of the Inter-House Swimming Galas with Year 8 and 9 taking to the water. All four Houses swam and supported with great enthusiasm and fantastic House Spirit. We saw great swimming ability from all girls in a number of races including; breast stroke, butterfly and medley relays. The race that got the most cheer, and giggles, was the dress up relay which had swimmers dressed in a t-shirt and socks over their hands before they went into the water. After each length of the pool the next swimmer would put on the t-shirt and socks until all four swimmers had completed the race.

After all the races had finished the results were announced:

First – MILTON with 83 points | Second – Hampden with 81 points | Third – Mandeville with 73 points | Fourth – Penn with 58 points.

Combining the points from the previous Swimming Galas the overall winners of the Inter-House Swimming Trophy 2013 are, PENN HOUSE, with Milton in second, Hampden in third and Mandeville in fourth.

Congratulations to all the girls who participated in the Galas this year.
