Year 7

Throughout the Spring Term girls in Year 7 have been challenged to recreate Medieval England (c.1066-1500) through a project on castles. The representation of the castle was totally free choice but had to be based either on a medieval castle style or a specific medieval castle itself.

The girls worked very hard and the creativity was clear to see as castles made of cake, sweets, papier-mâché, felt, kitchen rolls and even a digital representation were put on display. The whole school was then invited to come and view and vote for their favourites.

The standard amongst all entries was very high but the overall winner was Anna M with her recreation of Hever Castle.

Bryony G came in second place with her representation of Dunstaffnage Castle in Scotland. Marielle R and Zoe G came third with their sweet inspired castle.
