Quiz and Chips and a Fundraising Success

After months of planning and lots of creative thinking around the questions, Mandeville held their first Quiz Night to raise funds for the ’Down’s Syndrome Association’.

The House was very lucky to have the services of Toastmaster, Paul Deacon as the Quiz Master who engaged with the guests and kept the evening fun and upbeat. Raffle tickets were on sale as guests arrived and Mrs Mogridge was

 thrilled to have won the bottle of champagne.

The quiz consisted of ten rounds, with subjects ranging from Geography to song lyrics and the variety of questions produced a healthy rivalry between the teams.

The night was a huge success; everyone enjoyed themselves, the food was commended and the event raised an impressive £654.42 for the charity. Congratulations to the Mandeville organising committee.
