Fantastic fundraising

After a fantastic year of fundraising, the Pipers PTA were delighted to present a cheque to a representative from their nominated charity, Teenage Cancer Trust on Monday.

Money was raised from various events including two Christmas Fairs, the Summer Ball and an Indulgence Evening, along with other donations throughout the year. Everyone involved managed to raise a huge £10,500, A fantastic achievement from the whole school.

Teenage Cancer Trust Fundraising representative, Hayley Acton Deboick said “It was such a pleasure to come in and talk to the students. I was so overwhelmed when I was given the cheque that the speech I prepared went completely out the window! Pipers Corner is such an amazing school, it was a really special day, thanks again for all the hard work that has gone into the fundraising this year".

Pam Collington, PPTA Chair said “We are very pleased with the fantastic fundraising from parents, girls, staff and friends of Pipers Corner. On behalf of the PPTA I would like to thank everyone who has supported our events and for their effort and generosity throughout the past year.”
