Year 7 Join Forces on Team Building Day

To kick-off their first academic year in Senior School, our Year 7 Students enjoyed a beautiful sunny day of physical challenges, ice-breakers, higher-level thinking and collaboration as the embarked on a day of team building led by the experts from ‘Hidden Leaders’.

This event is run each year and facilitates the building of new friendships in a year group made up half of Students from the Prep department and half joining from other schools.

It was rewarding to see the Students not only actively engage in the range of activities, but also genuinely enjoy learning new skills with their new classmates. Their confidence as a year group developed as they day went on taking on the individual challenges of axe-throwing and archery as well as the tasks that required them to communicate and implement strategies as a team.
