Head of Year Diamond Awards

It is with great pleasure that we present our Year 9 Diamond Award Winners. Year 9 is the first year that girls are able to achieve this, the highest of Head of Year awards, and it is presented for outstanding effort or outstanding attainment.

It takes two years to become eligible for this award and girls have to progress through Bronze, Silver, Gold and Advanced Gold Awards before they can be presented with a Diamond one.

A few weeks ago the parents of the girls were invited into school to see their daughters presented in Assembly. Each girl was offered the opportunity to address the school; sharing either her attitude to life or her work ethic and all of the girls contributed. 

Miss Andrew, Head of Year 9, said she is “incredibly proud of the girls; what a great example they are, not only to their peer group but to younger girls who now have something to aim for”.
