When I Grow Up

Girls in Year 7-9 put on a fantastic show at the weekend with their performance of “When I Grow Up”. Featuring songs from popular musicals such as “Matilda”, “Hairspray” and “Wicked”, “When I Grow up” followed the story of the students from Primrose High School, their hopes, dreams, fears, ambitions and the challenges that they faced along the way.

The cast all put in high energy performances and delivered their parts in an extremely professional manner. They each brought an authenticity to the message of the show which was that by aiming high and putting in the work we all have the capability to achieve our dreams – with a little help from our friends!

Director of the show, Miss Shepherd, said, “All credit goes to my wonderful cast, for whom I wrote the script, and who have kept me smiling throughout rehearsals. They have all worked so hard and I am very excited to have been able to showcase their talents to you.”
