The Bethlehem Star

Pre-Prep girls were delighted to welcome their families to school on Thursday when they presented their Nativity performance of “The Bethlehem Star”.

“The Bethlehem Star” tells the story of a group of reporters who are looking their next big “scoop”.  They try to find this by asking various people in Bethlehem if they have heard of any important news. At the beginning they miss the story of a life time as they are not convinced a baby is interesting enough as “babies are born all the time”.  Eventually they talk to shepherds and angels and discover that the baby will be the new King.  This is the best scoop of all time from the Bethlehem Star!

All the girls were enthusiastic in their roles and really brought the Nativity story to life.  The girls performed extremely well with great songs such as “Extra Extra”, “Choir of Angels” and “At the Manger”.  They acted with confidence and excitement and presented a professional and enjoyable production.

Head of Pre-Prep, Mrs Rushforth said “The girls were amazing, they have worked very hard over the last few weeks and they did a fabulous job.  We are all very proud of them.”
