Swimming success

There is a lot of sporting talent at Pipers and this week we would like to highlight the achievements of Madeleine R (Year 5).

Madeleine is proving herself to be quite the swimmer. In recent galas her new race times confirm that she is now first in 50m backstroke across South Bucks and Berkshire and second in freestyle in the age 10 group. Across the larger South East region she is third in backstroke and 20th in freestyle. Most impressively it has been confirmed that she is 11th in the country for 50m backstroke in her age group.

PE teacher, Mrs Dollery said “This is a fantastic achievement for Madeleine and a tribute to all the hard work she puts into training and competing at this high level.  I am sure she will be one of the future stars of swimming.”
