Prep Book Fair

Prep have been very busy this week helping to raise money to keep their wonderful library fully-stocked with the latest and greatest Children’s books. The Travelling Books Book Fair which has been taking place at lunch time and after school has created a real buzz for the children – just as much for the funky stationery as for the award-winning books available to buy.

They took the business of running the Fair very seriously and oversaw point-of-sale, cash handling and recording the purchase data.  Every book sold at this week’s Book Fair helps Pipers earn rewards that can be spent on free books and resources for the Prep Library.  Each year, Travelling Books helps to donate more than £9 million worth of free books to schools across the UK and Ireland.

For every £10 that was spent at the Book Fair this week, the School will have earned up to £6 in rewards to refresh the books provision in School. Thank you to everyone who made a purchase, and for the wonderful Prep volunteers for running such a fabulous event.
