Pre-Prep donate for Operation Christmas Child

Over the past few weeks, girls in Pre-Prep have been taking part in the Shoebox Appeal for Operation Christmas Child. A charity initiative organised by Samaritan’s Purse.

The girls have been busy filling their shoeboxes with a variety of gifts including toys, pencils and colouring books, toothbrushes and soap and a very special gift such as a doll or teddy bear.  29 shoeboxes were delivered by Pre-Prep Teacher, Mrs Clare, to the collection point in High Wycombe and they will be sent to children all around the world.

The idea behind Operation Christmas Child is to bring joy to children at this time of year, who are less fortunate.  The shoeboxes have a huge impact on them and can change their lives for the better.
