U15A District Netball Tournament Winners

Congratulations to the Pipers Corner U15A Netball Team on being crowned Tournament winners at the Wycombe District Netball Tournament on Wednesday evening.

It was a great achievement for the team comprising of Rosie O (Captain), Lucie B (Vice-Captain), Anna M, Rachel H, Bryony G, Laura D, Lucie F, Polly M and Magda R

The girls played three matches with results as follows:

• Pipers Corner 9 - 9 Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School (draw)
• Pipers Corner 9 – 8 Wycombe Abbey School (win)
• Pipers Corner 14 – 12 Wycombe High School (win)

After two wins and one draw, it wasn’t immediately clear whether the team had won the tournament. However, after a tense wait, whilst the number of points scored was calculated, Pipers were crowned the U15 Netball Tournament winners of the 2015/16 season. Well done, girls!
