Save Our Planet

In honour of World Environment Day yesterday, parents, grandparents and friends had the pleasure of watching Year 3 perform “Save Our Planet”. 

They were taken on a journey from the planet Zarconia. An endangered planet on the brink of disaster due to the people on Earth not caring for their environment. The alien Zack was chosen to go down to Earth and help the people understand what they were doing and to encourage them to change their ways. 

Thanks to Zack and his friends they were able to help the people of Earth understand the dangers and decided they must act to help Zarconia.

Full of song, dance and plenty of laughs the girls really put on a show that dazzled the audience. They also learnt valuable lessons about saving energy and recycling to help the Earth become a better planet.

Head of Prep Drama, Ms Halton said, “The girls were absolutely wonderful and performed the play with such enthusiasm.  It was a great way to showcase their drama skills as well as learn lessons about the environment and the planet.”
