Examinations Year 11

Pupils at Pipers Corner are celebrating yet another improvement in GCSE results this year with almost half of all results achieving grades A or A* and 78% at grades A*-B.

Impressively 20% of the year group achieved at least 8 A* or A grades in their exams. All of these girls will be continuing their education in the Pipers Corner Sixth Form in September.  Megan House and Diva Drissell are to be particularly congratulated for achieving A*s across 10 subjects each.

In iGCSE English 54% of results were grade A* or A and in Maths 40% achieved these highest grades.

All girls attained a B grade or higher in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Religious Studies, Dance, Design Technology and Textiles.

Headmistress, Mrs Helen Ness-Gifford said, "I am enormously proud of all our Year 11 girls today. A few years ago some of them might not have expected to be looking at the string of A and A* grades that they have received this morning and it is a reflection of their hard work and determination, as well as our belief in them and the dedication of their teachers that we are all celebrating such a fantastic set of results.
