Pipers Corner is celebrating outstanding GCSE results yet again this year with 96% of results at A*-C grades.  Over three quarters of all results were at grades A*- B, with almost a fifth of students in Year 11 achieving A* and A grades in at least 8 subjects.

In Geography, History, Art, Spanish, PE, Religious Studies, Dance, Design Technology and Textiles at least two thirds of all students entered for each subject achieved an A* or A grade. Almost half of all results in English and Science were at the top grades A* and A.

There were a number of notable individual performances with high flyers including Lydia B whose results included 6 A*s and 5 As, Kirsty J with 8 A*s and 3 As, Gabriella S with 5 A*s and 5 As, Nia T with 5 A*s and 4 As, and Abigail V and Alice W who both achieved 4 A*s and 6 As. We look forward to welcoming all of these girls back to Pipers when they join the Sixth Form next month.

Headmistress, Helen Ness-Gifford said, “I am extremely proud of the results achieved by our Year 11 students this year. The fact that we have maintained our impressive 96% A*-C pass rate in spite of the national predication of volatile results this year following changes in the way examinations were taken, is particularly pleasing. I look forward to sharing in the girls’ continued success as they move forward into our Sixth Form.”
