Pre-Prep and Prep

Pre-Prep girls were delighted to welcome their families to school on Thursday when they presented their Nativity performance of “The Raggedy King”.

“The Raggedy King” tells the story of David, a shepherd boy waiting in anticipation of the arrival of the King of Kings. When David finds out that the new King is a baby born in a stable he is not impressed. He thinks a King should have a robe and crown, and not simply be in a stable manger. However when he sees the baby Jesus all his doubts disappear and the story ends happily with a final scene around the manger.

All the girls were fantastic in their story telling and really brought the Nativity story to life. All the girls performed extremely well and were in good voice as they said their lines and sang songs including, “My Hands are Freezing”, “Millions of Stars” and “Raggedy King”.

Head of Pre-Prep, Mrs Rushforth said “The girls were fabulous, they sang beautifully and spoke clearly. They have worked very hard over the last few weeks to learn their lines and dance routines. We are all very proud of them.”
