Pipers’ Young Enterprise Team ‘Seedings’ take Runner-Up spot in Company of the Year Competition

We are absolutely delighted to announce that the Year 12 Young Enterprise team ‘Seedlings’ were announced Runners-Up in the Young Enterprise National Final, ‘Company of the Year’ Competition which took place virtually on 6 June.

This outstanding achievement, coming second out of 900 teams from all over the UK, would not have been possible without considerable hard work and creativity on the part of the students over several months and amidst studying for AS examinations!

In addition to the Company of the Year competition, they won the National Award for Innovation and Technology, due in no small part to the amazing website they created and their ability to adapt and evolve throughout the entire process, never standing still and always wanting to explore more sales and marketing opportunities.

Alongside their website, Seedlings also pursued celebrity endorsements, children’s fiction and appearances at countless events and markets supported throughout by amazing teachers, staff and parents who have been their biggest cheerleaders. This coming-together of the Pipers community to support the Young Enterprise initiative really does show the spirit of Pipers at its very best.

The positivity and passion of the ‘Seedlings’ students - whether they have been standing in a windy Eden Centre, on stage at the University of Buckinghamshire or strategising and planning in the School Library, has been a constant delight to witness.  As a School, we could not be prouder of them - or more excited about having them all at the top of the school next year.
