In preparation for the General Election coming up on Thursday 4 July, students in Years 10 and 12 came together to get their preparations done for our Mock General Election.

After choosing what parties they wanted to represent, they worked hard on their leadership, putting forward their policy priorities (all of which reflect the manifesto commitments of the contesting parties), promoting their campaigns and allocating the roles. A great exercise to help our students understand the importance of each role within a political party during an election.

The Pipers Mock Election will take place on Thursday 4 July with the results being announced in the Leavers’ Assembly.
