An Evening with Young Voices

Last week the Prep Department held a special evening of music. All girls from Year 3 to Year 6 were involved with some girls having solo parts where they showcased their own talent, whether that was singing or playing an instrument.

Music performed ranged from classical pieces such as “Minuet” by Bach to more modern pop songs like “Roar” by Katy Perry. The audience thoroughly enjoyed seeing what the girls have been learning both in their school music lessons and their individual music lessons.

Mr Woodhall said “It was an excellent evening and all the girls had a lot of fun showing their parents what they have learnt throughout the year. An Evening with Young Voices is always a joy to organise and a special event in Summer Term.”
