Nativité Française

Girls in Year 6 performed a special Nativity to family and friends last week with the whole performance spoken entirely in French.

The girls have been working very hard on their French language skills since their trip to the Château de la Baudonnière in Normandy in September and were very excited to show their parents how much they had progressed.

The performance was a great way for the girls to practise the French language in an enjoyable way, whilst also helping them to grow their confidence in public speaking.

Head of Prep, Mrs Etchegoyen said “The girls thoroughly impressed with the presentation of their nativity - not only with their language skills, but also the way they really performed their parts. It was lovely for us to be able to demonstrate how much the girls’ language skills have improved over the course of the term.”
