Nativité française

Year 6 welcomed their families to school this morning to enjoy a delicious French Breakfast, followed by a Nativity performance spoken entirely in French!

It was a truly cross-curricular event – in preparation for the breakfast the girls had prepared pastries in Food Technology, made table decorations in Design Technology and created pictures to hang up around the café in Art.

Head of Prep Mr Leith said, “I’m incredibly proud of all the girls. They have thoroughly impressed me, not only with their language skills, but also the way in which they took charge and organised the whole event. It has been a great way for the girls to practise their French in an enjoyable way, whilst also helping them to gain confidence in public speaking.”
