Prep Inspiration Day

Today we had two exciting events taking place to raise awareness and money for two wonderful causes.

During our 'Prep Inspiration Day' students dressed up as someone who inspires them and we were joined by a whole range of famous faces, from David Attenborough to Audrey Hepburn and even the Queen! But it wasn’t just famous people who have been inspiring us, as one student, Ava, came as our very own Drama teacher, Ms Bevan, in recognition of how she encourages her to always believe in herself.

Daisy spent the day dressed as female aviator, Amelia Earhart. “She said that adventure is always worthwhile and I love adventure. It’s really cool that she was the first women to fly solo over the Atlantic Ocean.”

For Cecily, the Queens compassion and strength is what inspires her. “She’s a really good world leader and puts other people before herself. She’s faced a lot of challenges too.”

As well as helping the students to feel inspired by their heroes, the day helped to raise money for Cancer Research.
