Pipers Equestrian Teams Compete in Inter-County Championships

After winning their County Qualifier earlier this year, the school Equestrian team set their sights higher by competing in the Inter-County Championships at Hickstead between 25-27 May 2024.

The following riders collaborated brilliantly as a team in the Mochara Inter-County Dressage Championships on Saturday 25 May and finished in sixth place.

In the Oliver Bonas Inter-County Show Jumping Championships at 90cm on Monday 27 May, the below riders (as a team) finished in third place. The same team also qualified for the NSEA 1m Show Jumping National Championships (which takes place in October) on Saturday 26 May by finishing second.

• Ellie S riding North County Lady Tabitha

In terms of individual successes, the students below have all qualified for the NSEA Plate Championships (taking place in October).

• In the 80cm Qualifier Ella-Ann E riding Willow Longstone finished fourth
• In the 90cm Qualifier Phoebe L on Rooska Toby finished sixth
• In the 1.10cm Qualifier Ellie S on North County Lady Tabitha finished fifth
