
On Tuesday 2 March the Pipers Corner U16 Netball team successfully defended their title at the U16 Wycombe District Netball Tournament coming away as winners for the second year in a row!
The team, consisting of Eleanor M (Captain), Elise W, Emily B, Olivia W, Alexa T, Jade B and Amber C played eight matches in quite cold and blustery conditions, beating all their opponents except for one narrow loss of 2 – 3. Each member of the team raised their game and played at their very best to beat the top teams, securing a worthy victory and retaining their title.

- vs. Wycombe Abbey School | 6-3 (win)
- vs. Great Marlow School B | 5-2 (win)
- vs. St. Michael's Catholic School B | 3-1 (win)
- vs. Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School | 2-1 (win)
- vs. Bourne End Academy | 2-3 (lost)
- vs. Sir William Ramsay School | 9-0 (win)
- vs. Wycombe High School | 5-0 (win)
U16 Coach, Mrs Dollery said “The girls should be extremely proud of themselves and of how they have developed as a team over the last four years. They have proven that both hard work and commitment equals success in the long term.”
