The creativity and talents of girls at Pipers Corner was on display for all to see at the annual Art, Textiles, Photography and Design Exhibition in late June. The Cottesloe Centre and the Prep Department were transformed into a gallery, showcasing work created by girls in Pre-Prep to Upper Sixth.

The exhibition featured a huge amount of work from the girls encompassing a variety of skills and techniques including painting, sketching, sculpture, photography, textiles, woodwork and product design.

Themes for this year’s artwork included “Openings” (Year 11), “Viewpoints” (Lower Sixth, AS Level) and “Nature” (Prep). Upper Sixth Art students studied a topic of their choice where they researched artists of interest to them and used many different types of media to create their final pieces.

Head of Art, Mr Webber said “The Exhibition this year was fantastic – it was truly wonderful to see the work that the girls have created throughout the year exhibited in one place. We are so proud of the excellent work which has been produced and it was lovely to share it with parents and guests.”
