Art Pre-Prep and Prep

We are pleased to announce that three former Pipers girls, who completed their A Levels at the School this summer, have come first, second and third in the Buckinghamshire Art Society Young Artist of the Year Award.

The Society is keen to recognise and reward young artists from the region and invited 16 - 18 year olds to submit paintings, sculptures and prints to the competition.

The winners were:

  • First prize £100 - Rebecca Brennan with “You”.
  • Second prize £50 - Pamela Naidoo with “Italy Remembered”
  • Joint third prize - £25 - Emilia Fish “Tri-Portrait”

The girls were welcomed at a presentation evening on Tuesday 11 October at Queens Park Arts Centre in Aylesbury where they were presented with their prize and certificates.  Pipers Corner also received a prize as the winning school.

Head of Art, Mr Webber said “We are so pleased and proud of the girls and couldn’t be more thrilled that they came out on top. Their pieces of work were exceptional and winning an award is testament to their hard work over the years studying Art.”
